I have a couple tattoos from Jay and they both turned out way better than I could have hoped. I'm planning on getting a lot more work done from him once this summer is over. The whole crew there is great and I've spent many hours there just watching my friends get tattooed because of the great environment. I would definitely recommend stopping in to the Inkwell for a tattoo.

Walked in and got my first tattoo done by Kris...and I absolutely loved it! He made it easy to sit there and get my ribs done, especially since I was so nervous about the pain. Yet it came out beautifully....I will be going back as soon as I get ideas and cash!

I got my ankle done waaaaay back in December, 2009 (or 10?) by Karly. She did an amazing job! It is the entire Philly sky line in awesome detail, not just a line, she got windows and everything. You can read the PSFS sign on the Mellon building. You can see William Penn on City Hall she did a great job! I will definitely return.

She made me feel so comfortable, which was much appreciated considering it was my first one. I will certainly be going back to the Inkwell and to Karly for my next one!

Jay did my side/back piece about a year ago, and we built on it since. I get compliments on it constantly. He was great with staying true to the look I wanted while still putting his own idea's into it. He truly made an experience, that I expected to be really painful, tolerable and rewarding. He has also taken care of a few of my friends, and they all get the same positive feedback from everyone who see's their ink. We're all thinking up excuses for another appointment with him!
